Pink Lady
I was on a quick walk around UCD when I wandered in to the wall garden that is associated with Belfield House. As I walked around the rather traditional walled garden that has two mighty magnolia trees at it centre, I stumbled across this great plant.
The peony tree had seen better days and most of its flowers had started to fade. I did however spot one flower, right at the back of the bush, that still looked magnificent. I love how the colour of the flower tappers out towards the edges and turns from a deep crimson pink to almost a pure white with just a slight hint of pink still remaining in it.
